We focus on improving access to safe water, sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in schools and communities. Safe water, safely managed sanitation/ toilets and proper hygiene (handwashing, Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) and Food hygiene) protect people from disease and enable societies to be more productive in all areas. We will provide toilets in schools and communities to end open defecation. We also focus on health initiatives such as Malaria, Child health and Maternal Health (reproductive health – to reduce maternal mortality and improve the quality of maternal and reproductive health in Nigeria). The health initiatives involve sensitization/education, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management of the issues.
